Twelve-hour Rockathon goes on... and on...

What does $12.50 get you these days? Two coffees if you’re lucky. But in 1985, it got you a ticket to an all-night concert at the Entertainment Centre, with 14 local bands bashing away through the wee hours and all the way to breakfast time.

The line-up has been lost to time (get in touch if you were on the bill!), but the event was a useful rehearsal for the monster Oz Africa Concert held in the same venue just a few months later.
